Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PeerLM ("the Service"), operated by PeerLM Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PeerLM is a platform for evaluating and comparing large language models through blind comparative ranking. The Service generates model responses, evaluates them, and produces aggregated results and reports.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, credit restrictions, or security measures
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Eval Credits and Billing

Eval credits are consumed when generating model responses. Credits are deducted at the start of a run. Cache hits consume zero credits. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Credits do not roll over between billing periods. Refunds are not provided for consumed credits.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any prompts, personas, topics, and evaluation configurations you create. We retain ownership of the Service, its underlying technology, and aggregated analytics. Model responses are subject to the respective model provider's terms.

7. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Evaluation data (prompts, responses, scores) is stored on your behalf and is not shared with other users. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenRouter, Groq). Your use of these providers is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party model responses.

9. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain evaluation data for a reasonable period as required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
